CASA ALMEDA common spaces
Casa Almeda has a beautiful garden with sweeping views over the forested valley to the Garrotxa mountains and the Pyrenees in the far distance. There are plenty of spots to sit and enjoy the peace and birdsong. Sunsets are spectacular!
Classes, workshops, the buffet lunch and three-course dinner will all take place in the villa’s dining room or living room, unless the weather coaxes us outside. The spacious living room is the ideal place for full-group gatherings. It’s where the (optional) sharings will take place on the final night with canapés, a glass of cava and a roaring fire in the hearth.
There are four bedrooms in the villa. All come equipped with writing table and chair. The two largest bedrooms can be shared with another creative for a reduced residency fee.
Please be aware that the house is very slightly more worn than appears in the photos. However, the energy and space are characterful and inspiring. When we toured the house, we walked into each room and asked ourselves, “Could we create here?” and the answer was always a definite YES.
