Every few months we host a wine tasting event at Casa Almeda. We bring in our local wine expert Erika Kirwen to talk us through 6 to 8 wines from Catalonia, and to pair them with various tapas & tasty bites.
Erika has WSET Level 3 certification and knows everything about wine.. and she makes the event great fun too!
Erika makes an appearance for one evening on many of our creative retreats.

FOREST FIRE EVACUATION from romanyà de la selva
As with all of mainland Europe now there is a higher risk of forest fires due to Climate Change.
Fortunately Romanyà De La Selva is a very safe place to be as there are main roads from the village going North, South, East and West. There are also endless forest roads leading away from the village. So an evacuation travelling in any direction is easy and not dangerous.
